Hi Everyone…total noob here. I searched for this here but didnt find anything that matches…
I downloaded the free community .ova file, loaded it up and can scan just fine. I want to be able to schedule scans and when I click on “schedules” on the left of the dashboard, it takes me to a page that says “Service unavailable: Command disabled”.
I’m assuming there is some command to enable it, but I have no idea what it would be. I am not very familiar with Linux.
Glad to hear I’m not the only one..crickets in here. I eventually came to the same conclusion that’s its just disabled for the free version but it would be nice to know for certain from a dev or rep. Its not a good look to try to get someone to pay for something (which is very expensive btw) when they think the product is broken in the first place.
A simple message stating “This feature is only available in our licensed versions, click here to upgrade” would go really far, here. A tiny bit of marketing 101.
I’m sorry that the message “Service unavailable: Command disabled” does not relay this message clearly enough. I will pass this message along and perhaps a more detailed page for feature limits or a more succinct error message may be provided in the future. Thanks for your feedback.
If i’m understanding the following correctly the schedules feature was not shown in the past as expected (there is a comment in that thread on more background):
That this “Schedule” menu is now showing up unexpectedly could be a regression in the new 24.10 GUI rework. At least this PR seems to have addressed some things around this recently:
