Hi!
I am scanning around 100 hosts from the subnet specifying the range like 192.168.1.0-192.168.1.100 but the scan stucks on 30%.
Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks

Hi,
You need to look into you logs and the systems, maybe just a NVT is very slow or scans a very big HDD.
Hi!
It was stuck for 1.5 days. If I run the scan for 50 hosts then it worked fine.
Like I run the scan from 192.168.1.0-192.168.1.50 and then 192.168.1.51-192.168.1.100.
Can it be some limitation that I can scan some limited host?
Thanks
Hi,
without knowing that target, used NVTs, network , connectivity and logs it is far to complex to give you a reliable answer to that. Typical that seems to be a host firewall or IDS/IPS that slows scans down. But it can be a authenticated scan with a attached SAN and huge disks or any other setup issue. After you identified that reason, you can use Port-Lists, Group-Policies on Windows Targets, Scan-Configurations to tune that.
Hi Lukas!
Thanks. Is it possible to check if it stuck on which host?
That is described here precisely:
