I disabled IPV6 as mentioned in post but that does not fix the issue.

In some older posts it is actually mentioned that IPv6 needs to be enabled:

I found this old thread ARPV6/ICMPV6 socket: Address family not supported by protocol - #5 by Dagmar where I already commented some time ago. I’ll enable IPv6 on the host and see if it helps… Edit: Looks good, scans are running now
