Hi everyone! We wanted to let you know we’re on Mastodon in the Fediverse. We’ve moved over completely (meaning, we have stopped using Twitter as of last month). If you are not familiar yet with the Fediverse, it’s a growing network of services using free and open standards and is mostly volunteer run with additional support from individuals and open source companies. Mastodon is one of the social networking entry points, connecting to others via “instances” (servers) with no one single entity in control. More about the move is here on our Community Portal.
We are also trying something different. On Twitter we had three separate accounts (Greenbone in German, Greenbone in English and OpenVAS as a standalone). We’re starting out this time with one, so if you were following us on any of the above accounts- find us here at greenbone.social (home host floss.social). And if you were not connected with us before, it’s a good time to start!
