"Web application abuses" is all-or-nothing

I’m trying to pin down exactly what test is triggering a vulnerability in Ricoh multi-function printers. The web interface for managing the printer stops working whenever OpenVAS scans with “Network Vulnerability Test Families” has the 8209 “Web application abuses” enabled. I tried to use the OpenVAS log to disable individual tests in the “Web application abuses”, but it always reverts to testing all 8209 abuses or none of them.

Is it supposed to be all or nothing, or is there something that I can fix in my OpenVAS installation?

I withdraw my question. My mistake was in not understanding the web interface correctly.
