Using multiple accounts for a single scan

Hi,

When you create a scan task, is there a way to use multiple SMB accounts and SSH users in the scan, and is there a way to add more than 2 VLANs in the same task

for example

domain1\user1
domian1\user2

To include multiple VLANs in your scan you can specify the VLAN IP ranges in comma-separated form such as the example below:

192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.2.0/24, 192.168.3.0/24

As far as I know, there is no way to add multiple credentials to a single scan task, you would need to create more than one scan task to scan multiple accounts on the same endpoint.

Hi @rippledj

Thanks for your confirmation, I will separate IPs per account, regarding the VLANs. I have tried to add three VLANs but it failed, it only worked with two VLANs for me.

for example

192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.2.0/24 ==> it works without any issue
192.168.1.0/24, 192.168.2.0/24, 192.168.3.0/24 ==> it failed to create scanning targets.

OK, I am able to add the 3 VLAN comma-separated string as described above. What install method and version are you using? From source code, containers, or Kali native package? Also, which method of creating a scan are you using? Are you creating a new task from the wizard, advanced wizard, or the new task icon?

I am using the latest version of green bone from the source code., using create new task icon.
