How can I fix this issue? I am unsure what I need to do, I am just using the default scans provided in the application.

Could you please add more details to your issue like relevant log files, information on the used version, install method and similar?
It somehow resolved it’s self, perhaps the NVT weren’t fully downloaded?
As the whole topic doesn’t contain any detailed info so far it probably will never be possible to answer this question.
