TuxCare detection in automated scan of CENTOS7

Hi is some one using a extended support to an EOL CENTOS7 and white listing the issue in the scan report? Is there a way to detect TuxCare usage at EOL OS ?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Orlandoprz,

The easy way to do this is to set an override. It can be linked to a host and a NVT result.

Otherwise, you could write a custom NVT for your use-case, there is information in the forum about acomplishing this goal.

Hi rippledj,
I have tried to bypass and also change the severity but I had no luck with my procedure:

Can you please advise if I’m doing something wrong:

Thank you for the help.

I believe your mistake is that you need to apply overrides to the report. Even if the override exists and is correct, which it seems to be since you can see the override icon beside the result (it looks like the upside down letter “U”), it will not activate unless you apply it in the filter.
