You know that Openvas comes pre-installed with kali-linux-2023.4 so when I want to start the tool I found this error “Job for ospd-openvas.service failed because the control process exited with error code.” I tried a lot of solutions but no avail … so, anyone has a solution to this dilemma
I don’t believe it comes “pre-installed”, but rather it is available from the native Kali Linux package repository. Otherwise, you can look at the logs in /var/log/gvm and the output sudo systemctl status ospd-openvas or journalctl -xe to find why the process is exiting.
