The Scap Database is required

I am currently using a VPS & VNC to launch kali and openvas while I have

2 CPU Cores

80 GB Storage

4 GB RAM

After completely finishing installing OpenVAS and setting it up I tried installing the SCAP data and it installs fine but when I do my gvm-check-setup it says SCAP Database not found and I assume thats why when I sign in onto the local the feed pages say The Scap Database is Required but every single time I run greenbone-feed-sync --type SCAP it downloads and release the feed-update.lock no issues there but when I check the setup even after waiting several hours to see if it has updated and still nothing. Also GVMD log file doesn’t exist so not sure how to check if the data is being stored correctly just throught gvm-check-setup which isn’t really a good source for information on the backend.

@SecuraPosture Well. I am pretty sure that you have too low memory and that causes the issue. try machine with at least 8G then it should at least work.

Edit: 8G might be enought to install it, but real work you probably need more ram and cpu cores also..
