Dear Greenbone Community,
the release for our new operating system GOS 6 is just around the corner.
In the constant effort to provide our customers with the latest technology, we have made a number of major changes for the upcoming release.
Especially replacing OTP by OSP Goodbye OTP and all the subsequent changes have big impact on migrations, long-term-use, massive scanning, for which we want to guarantee a well-functioning technology.
To ensure this, GOS 6 will be released gradually.
On October 31, 2019 we will start with shipping our virtual ENTRY and SME solutions and then for the respective physical appliances.
This will be followed by the virtual MIDRANGE and ENTERPRISE solutions with SENSOR, followed by the respective physical appliances.
The same applies to migrations: First we start with the virtual solutions in the same order first with ENTRY, SME etc. to ensure a simple full backup. In the second step, the physical devices are handled.
