I have been using this for the past 4 years on various Kali installs (VM). I just installed Kali on 22:04 then installed OpenVas. I updated the feed and I can see the CVE and NVTs are populated.
When scanning my internal servers, the scans are too quick (1-2 minutes) with SMB configured. Usually they take much longer. On my Kali 22:03 VM, the scans could take a good 15 minutes and they would find all kinds of vulnerabilities.
The scan does finish and produce a report but I know there should be loads more in the report. It’s as if it is not really scanning the server. See image
The report should be showing circa 7.5. for the Windows OS it has scanned
