Scanning takes a long time

Hi,

I set up a scan (no credentials) of my DNS server using the “Full and Fast” config for “All IANA assigned TCP and UDP” ports. The target is a debian bookworm running Technitium DNS. I’m using the default scanner.

The scan takes over 90 minutes and during the scan the DNS server logs about 200k errors.

What is the recommended scanning configuration for detecting vulnerabilities (via open ports) that I can run on my entire network (100 hosts).

Only some more generic references about scan times, especially as UDP scanning is involved:
