Scan Task 99%, Failed to parse client XML

Hi everyone,

So I have the following settings:

  1. One Master OpenVAS, on Kali.
  2. One Slave OpenVAS, on Kali
  3. One virtualised router from GNS3.

So I have 2 subnets, with the router holding the two VMs. They are pingable from one to another. Everything is fine, I can initiate scan from the Master to the Slave.

But, the FULL scan on a RANGE of IP, is stuck on 99% (Host, System Discovery all okay). So I went to use this command:

tail /var/log/openvas/openvasmd.log

I get a ton of this error.

md omp: INFO:2018-10-04 09h45.04 utc:1724: Failed to parse client XML: Error on line 1 char 1: Document must begin with an element (e.g. )
md omp: INFO:2018-10-04 09h45.06 utc:1748: Failed to parse client XML: Must authenticate first.
md main:WARNING:2018-10-04 09h45.10 utc:1866: read_from_client_tls: failed to read from client: The TLS connection was non-properly terminated.

And this is from the Slave.

So far I have only found this to be a red flag.

Anyone knows what this is, and how I can have my 100%?

A big thank you in advance
