Scan locks the administrator account

Hello,

I ran a scan against a Windows machine and this scan locked out the local administrator account.
The scan was “Full and fast”
Is this behavior to be expected?
If so, shouldn’t a warning appear that, for example, a brute force test is being performed on the administrator account?
My problem now is that the administrator account is locked out due to too many failed login attempts.

Hello,

and welcome to this community forums.

The possible affects of the target host and network environment are documented here:

In this specific case the following applies:

  • Scans may result in user accounts being locked due to the testing of default user name/password combinations.

Congrats you found a other denial of service vulnerability of your system
