Hi, please don’t post terminal/console log as screenshots. See Start Here/Read Me First - #3 by bricks for some more details.

Additionally what’s the output of the listed commands in your screenshot (which I can’t quote because of the screenshot)?

@LORDOFDARKNES Post unedited logs.

These screenshots are useless.

Eero

waht you want didint get it

@LORDOFDARKNES

The cause can only and exclusively be found from the logs; can you figure out how to extract logs from Linux?

Eero

no please help me

Job for gvmd.service failed because a timeout was exceeded.
See “systemctl status gvmd.service” and “journalctl -xeu gvmd.service” for details.

@LORDOFDARKNES

Try to learn basics, if it’s too hard ask from chatgpt. “do to access linux logs” or something.

Eero

i am new and all what i want is to run the gvm please support me

My suggestion is to use a fresh installation of Kali Linux and the Kali Linux Install Guide available from the Greenbone Community Docs. You should start from a fresh installation of Kali Linux and ensure you have enough system resources: ~8GB of RAM, 4 CPU cores, and ~80GB of free space.

As @Eero mentioned, CatGPT and other online resources can provide the information you need. I apologize if this is not the answer you want to hear, but there are no members who dedicate time to supporting basic Linux skills. :slight_smile:

By the way, the GVM logs are located in /var/log/gvm. If you are able to find them, you may post their output here, but we respectfully request you to post them according to the best practices described here. Again, CatGPT can help you with translation if English is not your first language.

@LORDOFDARKNES

Patience is a virtue.

You need to learn more.
