Running Task with custom CVEs

Hi!
I’m using the GVM10 version from source code.

I would like to know if I can do a scan on X hosts where only the CVEs that I indicate are analyzed.

For example to analyze in my network 192.168.1.0/24 the CVE: CVE-2019-9193

That is correct, the CVE scanner is going through your asset management and maps the new CVEs to the CPEs and assets you already have within your database. So you still need to fill up your asset management with a discovery scan for example.

You can basically: Create a new empty scan config Add the mentioned VTs from Hint: Self-created scan configs (copy of "empty" scan config) showing no results Add all VTs checking for this specific CVE Configure an authenticated scan as described in https://docs.greenbone.net/GSM-Manual/gos-4/en/vulnerabilitymanagement.html#authenticated-scan-using-local-security-checks Run the scan
