I’m wanting to make some improvements to how we’re using greenbone - the main scan types in use are full & fast and discovery for external scanning.
The targets are all servers in a mix of public and private cloud. Mostly this focuses on IP and FQDN. Some servers have FQDNs but we scan currently only at an IP level. Would anyone recommend scanning both?
I’ve not seen any variation in the scanning between the two, so I also don’t want to be running ‘duplicated’ scans. Any suggestions or comments would be great, thanks
