Overnight scans seem to break the web interface - 22.04.27/VMWare

Good morning!

We have been currently evaluating the free version of Greenbone Vulnerability Manager, with the prospect of perhaps down the road purchasing the full, supported version.

Installation of the community edition went very smooth, working in a VMWare ESXi environment by deploying the Greenbone-Enterprise-TRIAL-22.04.27-VMware-Workstation.ova. Scans done during the day seem to work without a problem, however, lengthy scans that are left to go overnight result in a non-responding Greenbone Vulnerability Manager service by the next day:

A local “admin” login at the console still seems to work, but restarting the server through the text GUI doesn’t seem to resolve the issue. There doesn’t seem to be any way to login to the web interface now. Is there a quick command I can send at the console to regain the ability to login to the web interface?

Most likely the same problem as reported here. Please try the workaround mentioned:
