Outdated gvm-tools package version in Kali

Looks like there is bug in kali/debian packages as.. gvm tools is not working:

ERROR:gvmtools.cli:Remote manager daemon uses an unsupported version of GMP. The GMP version was 22.6
_gvm@kali:~$ gvm-cli --version
gvm-cli 24.8.0 (API version 24.8.0)

what is easiest way to compile 22.6 version of gvm-tools to get this working? where I should report this issue?

Actually this seems to be not a bug but just an outdated version shipped within Kali. As Greenbone is not involved in any packaging (for Kali but also for other Linux distros) it would be the best to make the Kali package maintaining team aware of this via https://bugs.kali.org

Thanks for the report.

I’m really sorry, it’s my fault: I updated the package(s) locally by I forgot to upload the new version.

I will fix that quickly, but for various reasons it will be available only on Monday in Kali repository.

Looks like this issue is finally closed and updates packages are on kali mirrors.
