Openvas scan takes more time to complete than usual

Hi ,

I have two GVM installation with me .
One is in debian linux “Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)” and GVM : 22.5.0 . This is installed with source code available in github . Got it from greenbone portal
Another instance is in Kali and GVM : 22.9.1

I have scanned a host with same config on both the instances (debian and kali) . I see that it take more time to finish the scan in kali than in debian (kali = 6hours , debian = 2.5-3 hours) .

Not sure what is causing kali to finish the scan late .
I wanted to know if there is any major difference between 22.5.0 and 22.9.1
Or point me what settings to check so as to identify the issue in kali which makes it scan slowly .

Note : the scan config i use to test my host is a cutomised scan config . I use the same scan config in both kali and debian . I have checked the scanner preferences and network preferences in both . Everything is same .

It takes lot of time for port scanning (nmap) .

I can only suggest to check the kernel configuration and your network setting on kernel level.
