Openvas error after installation on Kali Linux

Hello user,

I would like to use OpenVas and have installed this on USB, VirtualBox and Native in Kali Linux. The result for all 3 installations is identical. After calling in the browser and the login, I get mistakes at many menu items.

„SecInfo“: The SCAP database is required

„my Settings“ kann ich keine Änderungen vornehmen : Given time_format was invalid

The output of „sudo gvm-check-setup:

Does anyone have an idea where the problem is and how I can solve it?

Merry Christmas.

Hello,

after 3 days I carried out an sudo apt full upgrade again and then:
sudo gvm-setup
sudo gvm-feed-update
sudo greenbone-feed-sync

Then the error “The Scap Database IS Required” was fixed. The scan works. The input in the settings still does not work. I can’t change anything here. No time zone, password etc. There is always the error “given time_format what invalid”.

I haven’t found any approach on the net here? The keyboard and the time format are configured in German under Kali.

Does anyone have any idea or an approach how I can get closer to the cause?

Thanks.

Thomas

I would suggest you contact the packet maintainer at Kali, there is nothing we can do here about broken Kali packages … https://bugs.kali.org/my_view_page.php would be a good starting point.
