Only 2 NVTs populating in the scan

I suddenly started to only get 2 vulnerabilities every time I run the scan.
" [Report outdated / end-of-life Scan Engine / Environment (local)] "
" [ICMP Timestamp Reply Information Disclosure] "

The error I’m getting in /usr/local/var/log/openvas/openvasmd.log

md manage:WARNING:2023-06-19 20h14.25 utc:6523: sqlv: sql_exec_internal failed

md manage:WARNING:2023-06-19 20h14.26 utc:6527: sql_exec_internal: sqlite3_step failed: disk I/O error

I can’t find anything online. I tried running openvasmd --update and openvasmd --rebuild, but I’m still getting the same results after running the scan.

Hello and welcome to this community forums,

disk I/O error sounds like either a full hard disc / space or a corrupted file system.

And you are using a completely unsupported and outdated version. It’s end of life since some years already.

df -h shows there is plenty of space on the device and the docker container which it’s being deployed on.

Yes, unfortunately, I do not have permission to change that. That older version does work on other devices as is.

Hi,

Fact is you will miss vulnerabilities. Your scan engine is no longer compatible with the community feed.
Additional there is no way to support this installation. If you have issues you have to deal with it on your own.

The error means your disk may have issues. At least the sqlite3 database is broken.

Nevertheless you wont get any help beyond that for that old version. We don’t even use or support sqlite3 anymore.
