Newbie looking for home vulnerability testing

Hi all

I am looking for a VM diagnosis tool for home use.

I used to manage the security for a large network (about 5000 endpoints) but have now retired. With the explosion of IoT devices I am concerned about the lack of security in my home network.

Will OpenVAS give me some insights into the vulnerabilities and security risks exposed by these devices?

OpenVAS helps identify vulnerabilities, but it’s not a perfect solution. Ideally, these devices should be placed in their own VLANs with strict firewall rules.
