When creating a scan task I am able to set a min_qod. But it does not seem to have any effect? It will still show results below that value.
The answer, is to ultimately read the docs. From Creating a Task: When configuring a scan task Min QoD setting is the:
Minimum quality of detection for the inclusion of the results in the asset database
The concept of QoD is also worth investigation since it is unique to Greenbone and helpful insight into vulnerabilty context and prioritization.
Indeed this was a bug with an older version. In the latest version this works as expected.
