Master and Sensor communication

The servers would communicate with the master sensor structure via SSH according to the faq. Which ethernet port or namespace would be used for communication between the two systems. Is only the address/port used that is selected for master and sensor management or can communication take place via all interfaces?

Interface can not be within the Scan Namespace, the rest can be communicate via SSH.
Please note all communication is tunneled via SSH. No ports or other setup is needed. Just SSH needs to be accessible.

Then I understood it correctly, the communication can only take place via the same the management interface ip.
But in return, the device can always scan via a management ip his own network from the management namespace? The separate scan namescape is a security feature for connections to other networks to completely ignore incoming requests?
