Issue Updating Greenbone Images to Newer Versions

Hi,

My scans are being repeatedly interrupted, and I am unable to edit existing tasks. These appear to be confirmed bugs that have already been fixed in newer versions. However, when I attempt to update the images, they do not update to the newer versions.

I would appreciate your assistance with this issue. Thank you in advance.

How exactly are you trying to upgrade your container images? If you are using the docker-compose.yml from the Community Container documentation, you will be tied to the most recent stable tag in the container registry.

Hi, my gsad version is stuck at 24.12.0, and no matter how many times I trigger an update or pull the latest image, it does not upgrade. Any thoughts on what might be causing this? I’m running the GreenBone Community edition from docker containers. Thanks

Happy new year and thanks again for your response.

How do we get the updated version 24.12.1? I run the docker compose setup and did updated the containers a couple of times. But even today, 27 days after the update to 24.12.1 should be available, this does not seem to be synced to docker hub.

I did a complete update and rebuild of the containers, but I still get this version Greenbone Security Assistant 24.12.0 and can’t edit an existing task.

For reference, this discussion is about the source code build. You can see the category below the title. I believe the stable tags have been updated in the Community Containers registry now and you can pull the new containers according to the documentation.
