Yes ive reviewed a number of past articles of varying topics after searches 
Including the one that suggested cloning the config to add port scanners, which i did.
Feeds are populated, i get no errors, i ran commands to reload the gvm data as suggested in other articles.
This is version 25.3.1 on Kali 2025.4 built and patched just yesterday. Installed by the instructions on the kali tool page without any apparent error.
i can see in the openvas log that it found 13 hosts so that appears to be running
Ive pretty much exhausted the search options and am still getting nothing but 0.0 Log results on any scan run.
Not sure what im missing here so any help would be appreciated.
Added i do see a sql error suggesting that the root role doesnt exist but in following up on that im not starting it using root but sudo off my admin account, which is not the gvm user but the gvm user was created per the setup script.
Also all looks fine on the gvm-check-setup command. No errors or fixes other than a password policy warning.
