Hello am.steen and welcome to the Greenbone Community forum,

The community portal provides getting started instructions for:

• Installing Greenbone Docker containers
• Use Greenbone virtual machines
• Installing Greenbone from source code

As far as I know, the Ubuntu native packages are not currently functional athough the Kali native packages work well. I can suggest the VM or Docker for easy setup in Ubuntu.
