Currently, the report results are displayed per host, but I would like to configure it to display per vulnerability. Is this possible?

I don’t think it’s possible. A workaround is to export the data in XML format and modify the result using a Python script, for example.

Yes OPENVAS REPORT is a paid product. You could checkout Greenbone’s Pheme repository, which can accept scan data grouped by NVT, but I’m not sure if this will meet your needs.

OPENVAS REPORT is a new product that can collects and analyzes vulnerability scans of our main product (formerly Greenbone Enterprise Appliance, now OPENVAS SCAN). It has nothing to do with pheme, which is a service to allow to download specific report formats for our main product.
