How to audit the following target (Error in host specification): crm.mydomain.org/SlxClient

Dear all,

When creating a single target with the domain crm.mydomain.org GVM operates smoothly and I get the expected results.

However when the target is crm.mydomain.org/SlxClient, GVM fails (Error in host specification).

I have read in the docs that I can include a scanner preference parameter called cgi_path in order to look for CGI scripts.

Is this the way it should be done?

Hi,

there is a misunderstanding how our software works. It’s not a Web Application Scanner to search for vulnerable web sites on arbitrary URLs. Instead it scans hosts. That means machines reachable via domains and IP addresses and not URLs. Thus your target always needs to be crm.mydomain.org.
