I configured a target manually and used standard parameters except the IP address. For this target I created task using “Full and fast”, all other parameters have default value (in particular “Add results to Assets” is set to “yes”). After running the scan I opened the report. The “Hosts” tab shows that one host has been found, that’s correct. When I click the “IP Address” link the “Asset -> Hosts” shows, a filter has been set for the IP address, but the host isn’t there. Even if I remove the filter and check the few hosts in my database, the host is missing. Do I have a wrong expectation? I thought that my host should have been added automatically.
