All,
After last weeks update openvas wont get past stage 5 on gvmd-check-setup. Here is the error msg I get:
ERROR: No users found. You need to create at least one user to log in.
FIX: create a user by running ‘sudo runuser -u _gvm – gvmd --create-user= --password=’
When I I run that fix from the command line (Kali Linux) nothing happens. I should see that creates a user but literally nothing happens.
The instance was working fine before hand. Running gvm-setup says it creates a user called admin but it shows no password for that user.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Randy
