Hi,

While I was checking Greenbone Enterprise I found two scan config “Full and fast” and “Full and very deep”, since both scans are using the same NVTs and Greenbone relies on detection and tests what is the different between those two scans? and if I duplicate “Full and very deep” and check safe_scan will it be the same of “Full and fast”? and what dose “don’t trust previously collected information” dose it mean it will run all NVT tests on a target machine? I have tested both scans on the same machines and got the same exact result. is there any specific senarios I should pick a specific scan

With Full and Fast is a WebServer is detected only Web-Specific tests are executed on the Host, with very deep. All tests fitting or applicable to that port are done again. So the dependency tree is very small to be able to check LoadBalanced Services, etc … or someone running a SSH on a SMTP Port :wink:
