Greenbone OS 22.04.19 released

For GOS 22.04, a new patch level is available.

This release fixes several bugs, improves the memory usage during feed updates, and includes a new, improved design for the included product manual.

Note that due to a security fix in GOS 22.04.19, older SSH clients may be unable to connect to GOS 22.04.19. SSH clients need to support one of the following MAC algorithms to connect to GOS 22.04.19:

  • hmac-sha2-512-etm@openssh.com
  • hmac-sha2-256-etm@openssh.com
  • hmac-sha2-512
  • hmac-sha2-256

With this release, all old GOS versions of 21.04 and below are declared obsolete. Greenbone does no longer guarantee an upgrade path to GOS 22.04, and any service like the Greenbone Enterprise Feed or the Greenbone Community Feed may be discontinued for these versions at will, but with no concrete plans for this at present. Customers with special service contracts pertaining to old versions are not affected. We encourage all users to use the currently supported version of our enterprise products: GOS 22.04.

In total, GOS 22.04.19 covers 1 extension, 6 improvements, 11 bug fixes and 2 security fixes. For a complete list of changes, see the Roadmap & Lifecycle page:
