Greenbone OS 22.04.15 released

For GOS 22.04, a new patch level is available.

This release fixes an error where scan tasks sometimes got stuck at 100 % when a large number of host details needed to be processed. Additionally, the new task status Processing was added. It is displayed after 100 % scan progress, indicating that the appliance is busy processing data in the backend, while any scan activity is completed as expected.

GOS 22.04.15 brings several more improvements. Among other things: For CVEs for which a severity score is not yet available, “N/A” is now displayed instead of the misleading severity “0.0”.
Override texts are now also included in the report formats GSR PDF, GXR PDF, Vulnerability Report HTML, and Vulnerability Report PDF. In addition to that, the limit for override texts included in reports was increased from 60 to 300 characters.

The gvm-tools included in GOS was updated to version 23.9.0.

For virtual appliances, a reboot is required after upgrading to GOS 22.04.15.

In total, GOS 22.04.15 covers 11 improvement, 10 bug fixes, and 3 security fixes. For a complete list of changes, see the Roadmap & Lifecycle page:
