Greenbone OS 21.04.14 released

For GOS 21.04, a new patch level is available.

The release implements four important security updates:

  • The Linux kernel for hardware appliances was upgraded to version 5.10.103-1 as the former version was vulnerable to CVE-2022-0185.
  • The Linux kernel for hardware appliances was also vulnerable to the vulnerabilities CVE-2022-0492 and CVE-2022-0847, which are fixed by the upgrade as well.
  • For virtual appliances, the Linux kernel was upgraded to version 4.19.232-1 as the former version was vulnerable to CVE-2021-20322.
  • The vulnerabilities CVE-2022-0492 and CVE-2022-0847 affected the Linux kernel for virtual appliances as well and now got fixed by the upgrade.

We recommend everyone to upgrade to GOS 21.04.14.
