External access (0.0.0.0) for containers

I’m following the instructions for Greenbone Community Containers - Greenbone Community Documentation , running it exactly as specified under an Ubuntu 22.04 host. The tool is accessible via localhost:9392, but I cannot find any documentation as to how to allow access from the world (0.0.0.0). All the other forum posts refer to editing config files on the host, which doesn’t make sense with docker.

I’ve changed the port declaration of 127.0.0.1:9392:80 to 0.0.0.0:9392:80 but it’s still not “world” accessible.

Just take a look at Workflows - Greenbone Community Documentation

Yea. I did that before I asked and it didn’t work… and for some stupid reason I assumed/was convinced the problem was the Greenbone/OpenVAS software not elsewhere.

The problem was firewalls. My apologies.
