Downloading OpenVAS on Native Linux Ubuntu 18.04 ERROR

Hi ,

I am trying to install Openvas on my machine. There commands i used are sudo apt-get install open vas and the next command i used was sudo openvas-setup

at the end up the setup i got an error message that said " job for openvas-scanner.service failed because the control process exited with error code.

What is the way to resolve this issue ?

this is on Ubuntu specific error and therefore you should contact the package maintainers first. But a similar topic has been created some time ago already. Please follow
