Delta Reports are Empty

Hello, I am having an issue when trying to get delta reports to print to pdf. I am able to see all of the information of the delta report when viewing it on the web gui but when I export the document to pdf it is an empty document. Below theres a pic of how it looks in the web gui and then how it looks in the pdf

I have tried it with multiple filters as well the default filter (apply_overrides=0 min_qod=70 first=1 sort=name rows=10) and custom ones that I have made (sort=name apply_overrides=1 levels=hml rows=1000 min_qod=70 first=1 delta_states=sngc) and still nothing is showing up.

Versions:
Gsad - Greenbone Security Assistant 22.09.0
Gvmd - Greenbone Vulnerability Manager 23.2.0
Installation method was building from source

EDIT:
I think a part of the issue is that on my install it is not letting me change the filters

as many times as I try to change the sort=host, it won’t let me, I believe this might be why it is showing up as blank because the name portion of the results are empty? Not sure.

I moved this to the How to category since it is not about a scan configuration. Can you please describe your install method? Community containers, Kali Linux, from source code, or other? Sometimes a bug is isolated to a particular install method and that would help track down potential issues.

Also, regarding the filter, I believe that the filter displayed when exporting to a report is simply intended to be informational. It cannot be edited. You would need to modify the filter in the report view before that stage. From your images, it seems to display the total number of results for each severity class. Are you saying it does not print the information for each result? Is there in-fact any difference between the two reports in you are comparing?

My install method was building from source on my Centos 9 stream OS, Yes there was like 2 differences in it, even when trying to compare results with more than just a few differences it was the same.

Also checked the report_formats section in my host server and didnt see anything of issue in the delta reports section in the latex.xsl file. Still unsure of what could be causing this.

In case this got missed so far but this is a quite outdated version (was released on 2024-01-12 → Releases · greenbone/gvmd · GitHub) so unexpected behavior should be expected when running outdated versions of a software.

Suggestion is to update all components (not only the gvmd) to the most recent versions, see e.g.:

Yes that seemed to be the issue, I reinstalled GVM with newest versions and it printed the reports correctly.
