I am migrating from a GSM400 to a DECA appliance. On the GSM400 I have namespaces so I can determine that my scans are carried out from a particular interface. However this does not seem to be available on the DECA. All I am trying to do is create a management interface (eth0) and a scanning interface (eth1), but I can’t see how to specify that the scans must use eth1 and that management traffic such as feed updates, traps, syslog etc use the management interface.
If I create two network interfaces and designate one of them as the management, will the DECA then restrict scanning to the non-management interface in the same way as if I put one interface in the management namespace and one in the scan inamespace on the GSM400?
