CPE's and CVE's feed not showing

Hello everyone,

Anyone can help me about CPE and CVE feed not showing and still 0 on psql (feeds already downloaded in /var/lib/gvm/scap-data/ but not sync to database).
I’ll try sync, rebuild and do anything i can with myself and ChatGPT support, but no one methode can solved the problem.

Maybe you want to know about my server source status:

  1. Storage save 90GB remaining
  2. RAM 32GB
  3. CPU’s 8 core

*btw im using Ubuntu latest version and create docker-compose.yml with script from Greenbone Community Containers - Greenbone Community Documentation

Hey i’am happy to see that i’am not the only one ! Same problem here on ubuntu server 24.04 and the docker containers.

As a first check you should look at the Administration → Feed Status page. It should show the last feed sync or if the feed sync is still ongoing. Afterwards you should follow

Do you still have no CPEs at the corresponding page? Did you check the gvmd log according to Workflows - Greenbone Community Documentation?

I’ve run a container setup from scratch yesterday and had no issue.

What OS you used? Debian or Ubuntu?
I check and follow that documentation, then still the same, no issue fixed.

Personally I am on Ubuntu 24.04.

Do be sure, did you get the message update_scap_end: Updating SCAP info succeeded in the gvmd log?
Do you maybe use a different user instead of the default admin one?

Solved, i create server with Debian OS, like greenbone said, Debian is stable.

As I wrote I am on Ubuntu 24.04 and it works too. The containers are independent of the underlying host OS.

Your issue was something different and has just been resolved by restarting from scratch. Using Debian instead of Ubuntu as Docker Host is not the solution.

Im always restart the docker and server multiple times, but still not fixed that, but you must to know, in Debian im fresh install and running smooth without problem
