Can deleting old OpenVAS reports significantly save disk space?

Hi everyone,
I’m running OpenVAS and noticed that over time the reports are taking up a lot of disk space. I’m wondering if deleting old scan reports can free up a significant amount of storage, or if most of the space is used elsewhere (like databases or logs). Does anyone have experience with this? Are there any best practices for safely managing disk usage in OpenVAS?

Thanks in advance!

The singe report does not make a big difference, i would look to log-rotation, log-compression and database maintenance. to reduce the storage footprint.
