After updating Kali today and synchronizing feeds, I noticed that UI has changed and I received notification that I am using free community feeds and 60% of vulnerabilities are hidden. Has Greenbone change something for feeds? Till now I was using OpenVas and I didn’t have this notification for feeds and vulnerabilities. Was always like this with free community feed version or there is a change that now the companies need to buy enterprise version to have all vulnerabilities?
This notice is not alerting to any major changes in how the Greenbone feeds operate. The Enterprise Vulnerability Feed has always been included more tests than the community edition.
@hackingtestzg The free NVT feed is sufficient for many purposes. Of course, it’s worth paying for it if it fits within your budget.

I didn’t know that more tests were included in enterprise edition as I never received notification till now, after I updated Kali. I saw Greenbone Basic Enterprise but I am confused with its manual. Can I normally install on Kali like community edition or in manual says “The Greenbone Basic” virtual appliance" and in specification its giving different Hypervisors which we don’t want to use it. I would like to use it with Kali like I am using free community edition, is that possible?
This is currently not possible. Greenbone Free and Greenbone Basic are only available as Virtual Appliances.
OK, thanks.
