Hello, I’m new to this community and not sure if this is the right Category. I have Openvas 7.0.3 on Kali Linux 2019.4 Live USB with encrypted persistence. I installed openvas by running the “kali-tools-all”. It showed up after the “tools-all” update. And it’s stop and start services. I’m trying to update to 7.0 to 9.0 or whatever the newest is. I’m using openvas-update.sh:
/usr/sbin/openvasmd --update --verbose --progress
It’s updating now…My question is, will this update to 9.0? If not, how do I? Without uninstalling/reinstalling openvas? Is this the right Category? Please reply. Thanks
Is gmvd and openvas web UI different? I found 9.0.3 gmvd on Github.
And found gsa 9.0 on Github.
