I installed Openvas Version 21.4.1 on Kali Linux 2021.2 but in Feed Status, the message “update in progress” stays all the time. I left it on for more than 8 hours trying to update, but it didn’t update.

This message indicates that gvmd got restarted. It seems gvmd had never enough time to load the SCAP data actually.
