I confirmed with further test that the docker-compose file GVMD_ARGS does work as i am receiving the attachments via email.
There is no need for the script to modify the ARGS in the gvmd container as its overridden by the compose file ARGS.

I have a new/weird issue now which i have posted here GVMD container postgresql-client-<version> package error!. Hopefully you can assist with it as well.
