Some patches were merged into the different modules. For ospd-stable, the openvas-smb patch is still not available, but for edge.
I have just tested the ospd-openvas:edge image and I get wmic working.

Yes, I can confirm this wmic is working in the egde tagged container an in the web console I can see:

Description (Knowledge base entry)                                                              : Value/Content
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Access to the registry possible (SMB/registry_access)                                           : TRUE
Access via WMI possible (WMI/access_successful)                                                 : TRUE

When will the fixed wmic version also be available in the stable tagged container and how could I check if this would be the case on future container updates?

Hi! Now the stable tagged container has the fix as well!

I tried it with my environment and can confirm that WMI works now with the stable tagged container as well.
