Why openvas only runs in linux, what changes ?I have to do to make it work on windows.
The daemons of GVM/OpenVAS (gsad, gvmd, openvas) will NOT run on windows. They are tied to unix based operating systems. We are using many many unix specific things which wont be available on windows. But alternatively you can run it in a virtual machine. Also of course it is possible to scan windows systems for vulnerabilities without running the daemons on windows.
