Is there a guide or manual how to setup an remote scanning environment with greenbone? I would like to scan some networks without allowing all through a firewall from the scanner.
I found some old manuals (2018) but that’s not working. Setting up a scanner and bind that scanner to a port is working in the configuration. Only something I do wrong because the scanner isn’t binding to the port and when I validate the scanner I get a message “Failed to verify scanner.”
In the logfiles I also cannot find any clue about what I’m doing wrong or where the issue might be.
So who can show me in the right direction?
